CITYPULSE AT THE TOWER

During December Citypulse presents a special exhibition in a 40 square meters screen located at 120 meters of height in the ENTEL Tower [Santiago/Chile]. The screening includes selections of the citypulse collections of video, photography and genetic art.
More than 120 artists of all the continents participate, showing its visions of the cities of the world and portraying their inhabitants in the new collection ‘CITIZEN’.
The exhibition has unique characteristics, not only for the monumental format of public exhibition, but also because it will remain active 24 hours during 24 days, on a continuous basis.
According with estimates based in average flows of pedestrians, the number of visitors is expected to surpass the one million people.

Citypulse Magazine X issue

Citypulse in the World One Minutes Lisbon

A selection of videos from the Citypulse collection will be screened in the World One Minutes Lisbon exhibition. The event will be launched in November 8th in the Gulbenkian Foundation and will be open until December 7th.

The selection will be shown in the form of an installation which will be presenting 1000 films coming from the whole world.

The Citypulse selection includes the following works:

Citypulse in the Lumen Eclipse Festival



A selection from the Citypulse 6.0 collection will be screened at the Lumen Eclipse Festival, this Saturday, September 27.
The film festival will be an outdoor event at the newly constructed Palmer Street in Harvard Square (Cambridge, MA).

Citypulse 6.0 in the Aarau Festival



The Citypulse 6.0 collection will be screened as part of the official selection in the Aarau Festival in Switzerland, starting in August 22.

Citypulse 6.0 includes audio-visual pieces that explore alternative visions of the urban phenomena, created by artists from seven countries, featuring Sebastian Soto [hmstr], Jota, Tryand Error, Tom Denke, Pablo Perez, Andrew Burgess, Michelle Letelier, Marina Andrade Camara, Leandro Lisboa, Pras Anand, Michele Pesce, Maellyn Macintosh, Alfonso Guevara, Epix, Luis Muñoz, Maps and Diagrams, Arthur Tuoto and Sophia Male, among others.

CITYPULSE IN THE BEIJING OLYMPICS

A selection of videos taken in Chilean cities by Citypulse artists will be screened in the World One Minutes exhibition. The event will be launched in June 6th in the Beijing Today Art Museum as part of the city's official cultural programme surrounding the Olympic Games.

After Beijing, the World One Minutes will be travelling around the world, marking the beginning of the World One Minutes Biennale, with the next editions in 2010 an 2012.
